Fly Ash Infrastructure

Specifically for Fly Ash, we have created a robust and efficient supply chain with world-class, all-season infrastructure that includes dedicated storage silos, classification/ processing systems, packing systems for various modes, owned forklifts and bulkers, covered warehousing and factory-stuffing of containers, enabling us to export unencumbered throughout the year (even during the monsoon/ rainy season), apart from supplying to local markets.

Our aim is to offer the highest quality products to our customers, without compromise. All our products go through a stringent, quality control process before they are dispatched. There are various check-points to identify quality related flaws, and we strive to maintain top-notch product consistency and reliability.

JAYCEE is an ISO 9001 certified organization and working towards CE Marking of CEMGUARD® Fly Ash.

In order to achieve the highest possible quality standards in our industry, we:

Fly Ash

Quality control for CEMGUARD® Fly Ash is in line with international standards. Fly Ash collected from specific fields of ESPs is subject to processing/ quality control to regulate its fineness (particle size and distribution, shape and glass content) and unburnt carbon (loss-on-ignition). All our major facilities have an in-house laboratory for testing of key parameters such as retention over 45 micron sieve, loss-on-ignition and moisture as per standard codes. Grab samples are collected daily at regular intervals and retained after testing. A composite sample made from daily grab samples is sent for comprehensive physical and chemical testing to reputed independent laboratories such as SGS on a weekly and monthly basis. We also do SGS pre-shipment inspection, testing and certification if needed.

We believe that quality-controlled and consistent Fly Ash is the key to maximizing its value in various applications. Every dispatch - whether local or exports - is accompanied by a 'Certificate of Analysis' for quality assurance. In case of packing in big bags and small bags, each and every bag is thoroughly inspected for weight and damages before dispatch, and signed by the supervisor on duty as an added, fool-proof quality assurance measure. We have implemented an online quality control system to enable our customers check live quality control data.


Blast Furnace Slag

Quality control for GBFS and GGBFS is in line with international standards. GBFS is produced in modern, high cost, state of the art granulating plants which are computer controlled and environmentally friendly. Due to stringent quality control in the steel production process, the chemical composition of its by-product GBFS is highly stable. Regular checks are carried out on the granulate to monitor the amount of glass produced as a control on the effectiveness of the quenching process. GBFS is light in colour, around 3mm down to dust in size and has a relatively high moisture content. The material is allowed to drain by stocking in heaps for sufficient time.

GBFS is ground to a controlled fineness through Vertical Roller Mills with the latest technology and quality control systems to produce GGBFS. The grinding process takes account of mean particle size, grading (particle size distribution) and particle shape in order to extract maximum benefit when used in concrete.

Microsilica

Quality control for CEMGUARD® Microsilica is in line with international standards. The production facilities have an in-house laboratory for testing of key parameters such as retention over SiO2 content, loss-on-ignition and moisture as per standard codes, while bulk density is controlled during the densification process. Batch-wise composite samples are sent for comprehensive physical and chemical testing to reputed independent laboratories such as SGS on periodical basis. We also do SGS pre-shipment inspection, testing and certification if needed.

We believe that quality-controlled and consistent Silica Fume with uniform color, and sourced from a single, dedicated factory is the key to maximizing its value in various applications. Every dispatch - whether local or exports - is accompanied by a 'Certificate of Analysis' for quality assurance.
